Greetings From MPAC President
Camelia Bowles- Cobb

Welcome to the Metropolitan Philadelphia Area Chapter of Continental Societies, Inc.®! We’re so glad you stopped by!
Continental Societies, Inc.® (CSI) was founded in 1956 and currently has 50 chapters in the United States, District of Columbia, and Bermuda. Our mission is to create environments within our communities that empower children to have access to quality and appropriate opportunities to reach their optimal potential. To accomplish our mission, we focus on providing children in our communities' access to the best quality programs and activities in our five-point programmatic thrust – the areas of Health, Education, Employment, Recreation, and Arts & Humanities. Just a few of the programs include Literacy Development, Obesity Prevention, Asthma Awareness, and Oral Health. CSI also promotes the economic, educational, and social welfare of children in our communities by providing scholarships on a competitive basis.
Our membership is comprised of diverse and dynamic women ranging in age from mid-20’s to mid-90’s and represent a variety of professional backgrounds. The members are the fabric of our organization, and we cannot implement our programs without these hardworking committed women who comprise the membership of the Metropolitan Philadelphia Area Chapter (MPAC). We all have one thing in common – we love children and want to impact their future in positive ways. In parallel, we participate in sisterhood activities to strengthen our bonds and uplift us for the very important tasks at hand.
